Strategic representation in arbitration, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to achieve timely and practical outcomes.
Arbitration has evolved as a viable alternative dispute resolution mechanism involving not only large commercial enterprises and infrastructure projects but also MSMEs. While retaining the tenets and principles of civil law, the flexibility of arbitration offers a judicious means for dispute resolution. Increasing judicial support for arbitration, together with the growing preference for institutional mechanisms, has firmly established arbitration as an effective forum for the resolution of commercial and contractual disputes.
We represent clients in domestic arbitration proceedings before private Arbitrators as well as institutional arbitral forums, including the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC). Our experience extends to disputes arising from commercial contracts, supply and service agreements, and other contractual relationships. We also appear before courts in proceedings concerning the appointment of arbitrators, interim relief, jurisdictional challenges, setting aside and enforcement of arbitral awards, and other proceedings under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
Our arbitration practice is equipped to assist clients throughout the arbitral process—from the formulation of pre-arbitration strategy and conduct of arbitral proceedings to post-award enforcement and court proceedings arising from arbitral awards. In every matter, our focus remains on achieving practical and legally sound outcomes while preserving our clients' commercial interests.
